Crime is a significant concern in District 2. From property crimes to violent incidents, our community deserves to feel safe in their homes and on their streets.

To tackle this issue, I propose a multi-faceted approach: advocating for more police patrols in high-crime areas to deter criminal activity and build trust, encouraging community policing through neighborhood meetings, investing in after-school programs and mentorship to keep young people engaged, improving street lighting in poorly lit areas, and working with city planners on crime prevention designs.

I need your help to make our streets safer. Please report any suspicious activity to the police and participate in neighborhood watch programs. For more details, reach out at vote4steph.com/contact.
